This place was great for my budget and the commute was quite manageable. The area is more residential, quieter than central London but you've got basic shops, restaurants, and a couple of really nice parks nearby. About the flat - it was a pretty standard affair. Not the most modern but it had character and was roomy enough for my needs. Maintenance could've been more responsive though, had a few hiccups with the heating that took some time to sort. Also, soundproofing wasn't the best so you might hear the neighbours now and then. Still, for the price and space, it was good value for London living!
