Flat/Apartment
The neighbourhood is a vibrant mix of cultures, with some seriously good food options nearby - I'm talking mouthwatering Indian and Bangladeshi food. Proximity to the DLR and Overground stations was a major bonus, getting around was a breeze. As for the flat, it was compact but comfortable. I was really fond of the small balcony - perfect for a cup of tea and some city views. It wasn't without its issues though, the lift broke down a couple of times which was a pain. And, it's not the quietest part of London, so if you're a light sleeper, take note. But all in all, for a taste of authentic London living, Shadwell's worth considering!
