The location is pretty upscale, right in Highgate, a neighbourhood filled with green spaces - Highgate Wood, Hampstead Heath, and Waterlow Park to name a few. I loved the early morning walks and the Sunday picnics - a breath of fresh air in the heart of the city! Now the flat, it was a bit of a mixed bag. On one hand, the period features - fireplaces, high ceilings, bay windows - added a certain charm. But on the flip side, it was a bit drafty in the winters, and energy bills were a kicker. The nearby tube station was a plus, but just remember, the Northern Line can get busy. Overall, it's a place with character in a lovely area, but you might need to be prepared for some old building quirks!
